Neuroscience has become increasingly complex, more than the sum of its parts. Working together as a Center:
- Enables our mission by bringing together a broad base of critical expertise, facilitating the exchange of ideas, and providing a setting and structure conducive to building both internal and external collaborations.
- Delivers a base of shared resources, access to the latest equipment and techniques, and the special knowledge and skills of critical personnel.
- Establishes a cost-effective means to provide internal and external expertise.
- Facilitates building scientific collaborations between and across departments, schools, universities, industry, and communities.
- Accelerates the transmission of discoveries from the laboratory to the lives of people.
